Weird that you posted this today. I just saw a huge... huge owl the other day in our neighbors yard so I was already being careful and today while my 4babies were eating I felt a swish by my face and looked up and a GIANT hawk (red tail maybe?) landed in the tree about 5 ft from them!!!! HEART FAILURE!!! I am sure that my neighbors thought I was crazy. I knew I couldn't catch the dogs if I went after them they would run and he would get them so I start yelling streaming... throwing sticks... jumping around ... to get the dogs to be scared and stay on the porch and scare off the hawk. It worked but I saw a pic of a yorkie or maltese...can't remember being carried off my one....
