Is there a way you could only let her out into a covered area? Any hawk or owl would be happy to swoop off with her, and even if it couldn't pick her up, it could still fatally hurt her with its talons.
I never, ever let Wobie outside without supervision for this reason. I try to have him on a leash all the time, because just because someone's standing there, doesn't mean that an owl or a hawk won't scoop a little one up right in front of you.
