My groomer's keeps Max for several hours too. Usually if I take him in around 10 am, they want me to pick him up anywhere from 1:30-2:30 pm. I don't know how they work grooming them, but they always have quite a few dogs in there. I don't really like Max having to be there so long, but they do such a good job and they're so nice, that I figure it's just one of those things. Luckily for me, it's in a really nice area of town where there's lots of shopping and restaurants if I don't have anything else to do. I think sometimes if I take him in at 7 am, they have him done by around 9 or so, but I usually wind up getting a later appt.
