Usually when transitioning from stage 1 labor to stage 2 labor they will squat often in an attempt to pee. This is because as the pup moves down the birth canal they put pressure on the bladder and often the colon. I wouldn't leave her today just in case. Remi doesn't nest until she starts to push and she ate 2 hours before her first pup was delivered. She doesn't get sick or anything, just stays very quiet until she panics and wants in the whelping box. Once there she pushes and nests in between contractions.
