I'm a stay at home wife...I had a shih tzu years ago, she was housebroken outside, didn't have a fence at the time, well, a car came over on my lot line and ran her over, I missed 3 days of work, and when I got my next shih tzu, I said never again would I let one out, and I've kept that promise to myself. I started out with newspaper with her, she trained so well, then switched to the pee pads, it was so nice being able to go away for a day, once in awhile even a night, and not have to worry about being home to let the shih tzu out...now, I have a fenced in back yard, and 4 inside and 2 outside dogs, I take them out and let them run every night for about 10 minutes, that way they get their fresh air..they will once in awhile potty outside, but, they know when they're in the house, it's to the pee pads.. |
