I've noticed it's more expensive than other foods - is it worth it?

I feed timberwolf and love it! They offer a few flavor & kibble size options, I do rotate brands, feed a mixture of 3 - 5 different types of food but timberwolf is the base. I found timberwolf last spring at a conference, it was an easy choice as one of the mixtures have no grains. (that's when all the food poisoning was going on).
Right now my mix is timberwolf (elk & salmon and lamb & apples), orijen & royal canin. Last month I was using solid gold instead of orijen, I try to keep a bit of royal canin in the mix (everyone needs some junk food) just in case we get stuck... it's easy to find in most stores.
