Luna might be a model! Today was puppy class #3 of 6. I am so happy with how it's been going, the trainer is WONDERFUL!! She is so genuine and patient. You can tell she LOVES what she does. Most of all, she is more than willing to help you with anything you need.
Well, to my surprise today, we had a one on one training lesson because the other 2 puppies didn't show up to class. So, the trainer customized it a bit and worked with Luna's learning speed. Boy, was it FUN!
The trainer began telling me how amazed she was with Luna and went on to tell me that she had been wanting to ask me if I was interested in having Luna model for commercials and/or catalogs. I was caught so off guard, I didn't expect that coming, I was like huh? She then went on to giving me her email so that I could send her pictures of Luna that way she can send them to an agent, I guess to evaluate her.
The trainer also says that Luna is the perfect candidate for agility training, which the trainer also does, because she says Luna possess a lot of energy, food drive, and focus, which is excellent for training.
BTW, a little bio on the trainer, she has many years of experience and works with dogs for movies. She has trained dogs, dolphins, orangutans, baboons, monkeys, pigs, cats and horses, which amazes me! She also worked for Ringling Bros. for 2 years with Frisbee dogs! How cool is THAT?!
Anyhow, I'm just so happy and surprised, I'm so proud of my little baby. I just had to share.
I would like to know if anyone has their dogs in modeling or acting and what is that field like? I would also like to know if they are into agility competitions.
Any info would be appreciated.
