I agree, it sounds like you're doing a fab job! I haven't taken my 12-week-old (Jackson) out yet, but I have a 16-month-old (Jake) that goes lots of places with me. We take her whenever we go to our daughter's on weekends. We have lots of people in and out all the time, as my kids are grown but come to visit us on weekends. We took Jake camping with us over the summer, which is a great way to socialize, and he really enjoyed it. We take him to the pet store and on walks. He loves being outside. In the beginning, he was scared but now he's very well socialized and doesn't get afraid. Jackson is used to be around people at home, and he never seems scared at all. Once he is old enough to have all his shots, we will take him out alot. |
