He said he still would like me to bring her in for a check up because of the gagging so I’ll be taking her in tonight. I have faith she’ll be alright.

BTW, I'm glad our responses gave you a chuckle. Unfortunately most of us reading about a puppy who has been poisoned but will not be taken to the vet for three days didn't find it very amusing. If you stick around a while you will see many heartbreaking and avoidable situations and you'll understand why posts like yours aren't funny.
