I purchased a puppy in October, owner said she would send for the papers, as of yet NO papers, now she won't answer or return calls. This was an $800 AKC dog with owner having both parents who were AKC. I do have receipt where owner is supposed to supply papers for me to register the dog. Where do I start with a complaint to AKC as i do not have litter number etc? I love the puppy and do not wish to return her for a refund, but i do want my AKC registration. Any advice?

Did you pick your baby up at the owner's? If so, pay her a visit and just tell her that you will report her if you don't get the papers. Maybe something happened that delayed her, hope so for your sake. Good Luck.
