You never really know. How long did you have the tape on?? Shave the ear top half, Shave it a bit more than the top 1/3.. Put the tape on and then tape the two ears together. leave it for 2 -3 days, take it off and look, if still not standing put the tape back on, do this on and off for a week. Then if they still aren't standing, they probably won't stand. But Yorkies look cute with floppy ears too..
