Many bitches get tired of puppies around 4 to 6 weeks...and that is when I "hired" a nanny for them..there was always another seasoned bitch who wanted to mother..they were weaned and the nanny will clean and play with them if mom was interested...then around 8 to 12 weeks, I let them play with a few teenager Yorkies and other adults with supervision...group play is important when possible...
Bitches need attention, free time, grooming, along with diet, vet care, etc...
If the breeder does not have time to spend with their dogs and they are left for long hours without interaction, then I would look elsewhere...
A well adjusted puppy needs...a breeder who is dedicated to covering all the bases before and after its birth..and a owner who is dedicated to the well being of their pet until death.. |
