I also got tired of Luna doing that, she would jump in with all four paws and hop up and down until she and a 3' diameter of floor were soaked
It was cute as heck, but a PITA
Anyway, we have since switched to water bottles (one in the kitchen and one in our bedroom). They took to them pretty much right away and now I only need to clean and refill them once a week, as opposed to 5X a day with the bowls
If you take the bowl away, she WILL drink from the bottle.
