That's what I was going to suggest. Use a washable potty pad! The ones I sell are really big and would probably catch all that water.
Another solution that I saw the other day (sorry, but I can't remember where) was a water bowl that had a thing inside the size of the bowl that floated on top. There was slight dip in the middle of it with a cut out X in the middle of it so the dog could get water, but his beard wouldn't get wet. But I don't know if that would help if she is so agressive with her foot or not.
