Well, you have to have a product that is marketable. What are you wanting to sell? I have 2, and they are a pain to get set up the way you want. Also, getting hits is a big thing too, you need to have (can remember what it is called) set up right in order to have search engines find your site. Need word of mouth, and money. You have to buy hosting, and buy your domain name. Then, the programs for the online shopping cart. If you accept credit cards, then there is a fee for that.
You need to do a lot of searching online and determin what factors your state has for e-business. The rule and regulations, the tax laws ect.
