If she is not from the US and is coming to you with a micro chip from another country, usually they need a different chip. I know the Japanese AVID chip that was already in Callie would not register on any of the American scanners. I had to have her re-microchipped (as per base laws and regulations *sigh*). |
No she was Sophie's previous owner and she lived in the USA. That is how i got Sophie. She had to move due to her husband's work so off they went and they couldn't take Sophie or her sister with them so they were both sold, i got Sophie. I think she's going to be there for a while but not forever. So she was registered here in the US
