It is VERY hard to get an unaltered male to not mark in the house. Some will not, but most will. Around a year they mature and for us ours started at a year and have yet to stop. The joys of owning a stud dog. We use belly bands and yes they will potty in them. Make sure to change the pad regularly and to keep the area clean or they may get a rash.
