I read this somewhere when i first got Abby but I can't seem to find the page again. Anyway here's what it said to do:
You should start out small, just a couple strokes at a time and then give a treat. Do this througout the entire day. Just gradually increase the amount of time you are taking to brush her, until you can brush her entire body at once. once you have this down, start doing it routinely at a certain time of day to get her use to that.
