I have forgot to mention. I am in the process of looking into adoption a special needs Yorkie. After I get all the info on him and talk to hubby I will then go through the process. I am hoping where I have the experiance with Babybear that they will concider me. I will keep you all updated on the goings on with this little guy. I think rehabing two with problems will be good they can encourage each other. It is just convincing hubby of the thought. The other pup is less then a year old and was hit by a car at 5 months the owners left him at the vets office and said they could not pay for medical expenses to put him down. this nice rescue and it is not a yorkie rescue took him in and has been working with surgeries and such for this little guy. He ended up with a broken pelvis, broken toes and also a broken front leg. I hope his healing has gone well. He according to the site should be now close to 11 months old. I am waiting now for all the info. I do not know how long it takes to get this, but being very patient.(NOT!!!) My dream is to win the lottery(hmm everyone's dream) and open a rescue for disabled dogs. That is my dream. I do not want a big house and fancy things I would be completely happy with a rescue.
Well, i think I have gotten off the subject here. Sorry all.
Val, I just saw this post now, and you constantly amaze me with your devotion to these little guys, that so many others would just have given up on. I cannot imagine that the Yorkie Rescue would not approve you after the wonders you have done with Babybear. Your greatest reference would be to just point them to his Dogster page. Honestly, you are my hero; I tell so many people about you, and what you have achieved in rehabilitating 'Bear, how lion-strong your heart and will is.
Bless you a thousand times for the Angel that you are,
Lauren
That's my standing ovation to you.
