Hey Caren

I have a Hoover Steamvac and LOVE it! I shampoo the carpets about once a month (sometimes I let them go a little over that, but try not to). I WANT a Rug Doctor

They are AWESOME!!! They are around $600 or $700 though. Almost bought one a couple of months ago, but I decided not to since we are planning on putting in hardwood floors soon. My Steamvac does a great job though, I really do like it

P.S. - Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with the two M&M's and their accidents in the house
