 Attention Owners of Yorkies 3 lb and Under
I have had Yorkies for 17 years. I was wondering how long those of you who have tiny yorkies (under 3 lb) have lived. My vet claims they hardly ever live nearly as long as larger yorkies do. The smallest one I've ever had before was 4 1/2 lb. She died at 12 years old. My Feather is almost 7 months old and still only weighs 2 1/4 lb. I know sometimes the tinies have liver or other health problems. So far she's an excellent eater and seems healthy. TIA |
