Nature's Variety has a VERY sanitary facility. They are actually certified organic as well...I'm not into organic really but they have a ton of regulations put on them. They do quite a bit to make sure their food has the least amount of bacteria in it as possible.

I wouldn't feed any kibble, but Yorkiedaze, you said the first three ingredients were fillers. The first ingredient in all of their Prairie dry foods were some type of meat meal..chicken meal, beef meal, etc...that is not a filler. Those meals have a lot higher protein content than the foods that just list the meat alone...almost all of your premium kibbles will have "chicken meal" listed instead of just "chicken". Nature's Variety does make grain-free kibbles and canned foods. Instinct is the name of those products
