We have DirecTv. Have had it since we've moved down here. The picture quality is great...but then again it all depends on what type of TV you have. When storms come, we loose our signal. Doesn't have to be a major storm, either. It cost us the same as it would have with cable and the extra channels we have...HBO, Starz and the Outdoor Channel for my husband.

The only thing that I don't like about it is like I said...the storms. I heard that they're running a special right now that you can have DirecTV up to 4 receivers for $50 installation...better deal than when we joined. In fact, been thinking about having it disconnected for a couple of months and signing back on to get the special!
