I just called and talked to the 
Store Manager.  He was a very polite young man, even though I was shaking 

 . I can be very diplomatic when I need to be 

.  I started by saying I was calling from Va to alert him to something in his grooming dept he "might not be aware of".  I told him he might want to look into his grooming dept, becaue I'd heard twice recently that dogs have fallen OFF THE TABLE in his store.  I added that many pet owners wouldn't think of taking their pets to PetSmart, because of PetSmart's irresponsible grooming practices.  I let him know that I was calling from VA about this, and word is travelling fast on the 'net ~ that PetSmart is getting quite a bad rep because of their grooming departments.  So, there

He could have just been 'handling' me; but he seemed sincere when he said he would definitely look into it, and speak to the grooming dept head.  He thanked me many times for taking time to alert him.
