I had a butt-inski MIL, long deceased now. She had a lot to say and I ignored it and bit my tongue because I never wanted to cause problems with anyone in the family. I would just ignore her comments and tell her it's your dog, you'll do what you want etc.
HOWEVER, that being said, no way would someone undress Kalina or mess with her hair. NO WAY!! That I would be sure to say something about. I'd try to be nice but firm!! Good luck. She's obviously not a dog-lover and that's wherein the difference lies.
