Pete is 3 and has been diagnosed with an overactive heart valve and an enlarged heart (Mitral Valve Disease). His is on 4 weeks of antibiotics. The vet said he will eventually begin to cough and need one or more kinds of heart medicine. Does anyone have experience with this? How long do they live? How costly is the medicine? Have you ordered generic from the web?
