AKC doesn't 'guarantee' anything. You can still have people who lie about the parentage of the pups and end up not getting what the dog you were supposed to get. You see people complaing of that all of the time. AKC may be more strict with the reprecussions if you are caught, but that's just it, you have to
be caught first. Dishonest breeders are there with any registry--it doesn't neccessariy mean you are getting a good dog. (Thus the AKC suspension list)
When you search for a new addition, you need to research and buy into the dog itself, the breeder and what they both represent, not buy solely into a piece of paper.
Now I'm not saying that your claims regarding the mixing and dishonesty with the other registries are not correct, because they ARE and I realize those registries provide a nice safe haven for millers and the likes, but saying the non-AKC dogs are all mixes or that they are lesser dogs is a very unfair and incorrect blanket statement. Not ALL breeders are that way.
