thats what i thought too, that if it got longer it would be straight. no such luck, but thats ok, i still love him and his coat is so thick.
i did a google search on cotton coats and they said never brush it dry, always with a conditioner sprayed on first. cause of breakage.
i had no idea when i bought him at 14 months that his coat was a cotton coat, the breeder had him shaved down, the only thing thats straight on him is his head fur.
