Yeah, when I had my shih-tzu... my old vet recommended that to me!! I am no longer seeing that vet.. this was a few years ago. I recently started trying the royal canine yorkshire 28. My babies love that food!!!! I have to say it is pretty expensive for a 3lb bag. She does need to be eating puppy food during puppy stages because she is still growing and will need as much nutrients as possible. Try getting her something for puppies.
