I am a big fan of rules (especially since I babysit full time)
1. No smoking in my home
2. No running or playing in the dining room or living room (the kids have full run of the kitchen, family room and full finished basement)
3. Must use your inside voice (had to establish that one because my son is SO loud)
4. Pick up after yourself or I will put it in the garbage (dont care what it is - I will throw it out! my kids hate that rule)
5. Wipe the toothpaste out of the sink when you are done brushing your teeth (that drives my crazy)
6. My hubby's only rule is that you shut the lights off if you are not going to be in that room anymore!
