Thanks EVERYONE for such kind thoughts for my sweet Kalina. I wanted to give you an update. I called the manufacturer and they told me the woman who handles such things was out and would be in in a few days and they would leave my name and number and tell them my dog choked on the treat.

I told them "No, no, she didn't just choke, she passed out and would have died if it hadn't been for my fumbling attempts to help her." I told them that her eyes rolled up in her head and she couldn't breathe. I told them the whole story and was emphatic that they take it seriously, not just brush it off. The woman "in charge" is supposed to call me when she gets back to work in a few days. The experience was so horrible that I have made it my goal to get these things labeled as dangerous for small dogs, at the very least.
