Sophie got up to 3 lbs, 5 ounces at 5 months...but now she has dropped again to 3 lbs (when she lost her baby fat) at 6 months. I'm not sure she's even going to make 4 lbs...
She's so petite...and her frame is so tiny...So I know she definitely won't be big enough to breed (even 4 lbs would make me uncomfortable). I want to have her spayed, but I don't know if I should go ahead and do it now before she ever goes into heat, or wait until she's around a year old. We're getting Ryder in December, and he'll be the only boy, and only 3 months old at that time...so she'll be a year probably before he can ever produce any sperm. She really doesn't go anywhere except home and to my moms house...I'm too afraid of her catching something or getting stolen. So there's really no risk at all of a male accidently getting to her. What are your opinions on this?
