Could you ask your mentor to come over and watch mom and puppies interact and give some advice based on her/his experience..YorkieRose is right given the info you have included. If all of your puppies are near the same size and temperment you can feed al of the puppies together. BUT, if one is submissive or tiny and cannot fend for itself, you might need to feed it separate from both mom and the other babies. Do you have a schedule for feeding? Is someone home all day with the babies? When they start eating pretty regularly, mom will quit pooping them and the crate is gonna be one big mess...They have to be cleaned very often as they walk thru it, roll in it AND eat the poo.. |
