I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, everyone's spouses, and of course the furbabies. We all always go to my Mom's house for Christmas. I'm hoping that she'll feel like it this year, but it all depends on when her chemo treatment falls. She always feels TERRIBLE the first 4 days or so and then she's fine other than being tired. If the chemo is right before Christmas, I don't know what we'll do, but we'll figure out something to cheer her up without making her feel bad.
I am more thankful than ever for the holiday season this year. Having to deal with a major illness really makes you appreciate things a lot more... |
