I had a friend that got a longer snout yorkie at a discount because the snout was too long for a show dog. However, her vet told her that the longer snout yorkie is better because it will have less trouble with their eyes and breathing. Her first yorkie was one with a shorter snout and she did have more trouble with it's eyes then she's had with her current (longer snout) yorkie.
