A vet is recommending that a puppy can go home at 6 weeks, very sad
There is a reason why states are starting to make it illegal to sell a puppy before 8 weeks.
I took in my latest rescue at 7 weeks due to an emergency situation. Every day was touch and go with her. As she got older, I could tell a big difference in her behavior versus a puppy who is allowed to stay with the litter longer and learn socialization skills.
