Pee pads just teaches them that is where they need to go. I work from 7:30 to 4:30 and my furbaby stays at home during the day. She is 8mo's now and she's doing good. I have her area setup in my washroom w/ her bed, water, toys and a pee pad. She is confined to that area until we get home. I do use an additional spray thats suppose to help them go potty on the pad and she rarely has accidents. You just need to be consistant. You have to keep showing them and making sure they understand the right/wrong way to do it. When we first got her, I had her in a play pen with the same set up and that worked for us. Hope this helps
