Yes it does. I am very sure mine started after the trimming. Distilled water doesn't help if that is the issue unless you can control the fur from poking into their eyes which is extremely difficult unless you know how to trim it short and your pup allow you to do so every so often. My last groomer asked me to bring him in every week or two just to trim the fur in between his eyes, I don't see the reason to do that and to pay extra every week or two. Honestly, vaseline really doesn't help when the fur is at a stubborn length. I am just waiting patiently for it to grow out. It really does take a long time! Seriously, if any groomer doesn't take my words seriously again and cut the fur around his eyes again, I think I'd flip!
