Does anyone else have strangers asking you how much you paid for your Yorkie? Mocha goes just about everywhere with me, so he's met a lot of people already. I was really surprised with the amount of people who have asked me how much I paid for him. I've had more people ask me how much he cost, than people asking me what his name is
. Whenever I've gone out and seen somebody with cute little furbaby, it never even crosses my mind to ask them how much they paid for him/her. I personally think it's quite rude. It makes me uncomfortable whenever somebody asks. Some people react with the impression "OMG, why would you ever pay that much for a dog?!"...even though I paid the normal going rate for Yorkies around here. Does this happen to a lot of Yorkie owners? I've gone out in public with my cousin's chihuahua and nobody ever asked how much he cost. Is this just a Yorkie thing?
