Hey guys, I know a lot of people want to join the next gift exchange!
From the help of Admin, we have added new rules. For the newer members here, this one is most crucial! I know that you may think "what?, a deposit??". But, that's just to ensure your gift arrives to your buddy.
The first one went smooth but a handful of members did not receive their gifts. We are trying to take any measures possible so that every participant will not have to worry about not receiving a gift.
11. Deposits - The Gift Exchange is open to everyone. As a suggestion by Admin, members who have less than 500 posts or members that were not a part of the previous Gift Exchange are required to leave a mandatory deposit of $25.00 for security measures.
If you want to Sign-Up and you have less than 500 posts or were not a part of the previous exchange, you will receive a PM from myself or Admin about your deposit. Again, this is only to sustain the fairness level in the Gift Exchange. It is not that we don't trust you personally, we can not allow for any possibility of a Gift Exchange participant not receiving their gift.
Once your buddy receives their gift, your deposit will be returned to you within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Deposits can be done through PayPal by Debit or Credit card and we will also accept Personal Checks (if they are received by us BEFORE the end of the signup period). Paypal is preferred and much easier to deal with. If you do not send out a gift, you will not receive your deposit back and you may face consequences as listed below. |
