I don't know what's worse here, 4th of July or New Year's eve for the homemade firework displays everyone must assume their neighbors want to hear.

I hate finding the leftover firework debris all over my car and yard the next day too. I just don't see the use for it myself, aside from the obvious danger of blowing off body parts, burning yourself or starting fires, why waste your money to scare kids and animals for a big bang or a two second colored sparkle.
