I think fireworks should be banned from being purchased by the public and only organised displays allowed, would be alot safer and far fewer accidents. I call it 'firework fortnight' because they seem to go on for weeks not just a couple of nights anymore!
I'm quite lucky in that they don't seem to bother my dogs too much, maybe being brought up around airbases has something to do with it! it must be awful if they do stress your pets out.
