I have a question??? in regards to giving treats..and a little concerned
how often do you give your babys treats? once a day every day, twice a week? what is too much? I noticed recently when I give tilly & sami a treat like the ones mentioned here (except cheerios) which I never thought of! seems like they wont eat their regular food for that day waiting for another one? I give them each one a day? could it be due to the hot weather? and they don't have an appetite? then yesterday when I picked them both up from the groomers, I didn't realize how skinny sami was? maybe it's because he was completely shaved (for summer) that I didn't realize how thin he is?
In amother thread I mentioned a problem with a food control issue with tilly guarding the food, and now wondering if sami is too thin? and is not eating
he is 7 mo's and weighs 5lbs 6oz? I was told by my vet he should be around 7 lbs at a year old? Is this a normal weight at 7 mo if he is supposed to be around 7lbs? does he look too skinny ? or unhealthy? for his size? should I have him seen by the vet?
