yorkiegal- I have never heard that before, but it sounds reasonable. I have seen some dogs with a very short snout but with such wideset eyes (I mean really wideset). It does look a little strange. I have seen a website where they breed for a short snout and a lot of their dogs have almost a Pekingese look- really wideset and buldgy eyes! They still look cute, but in a different sort of way.
