Well, I have two boys, a bichon who was neutered at six months and Nappy who was neutered at 5.5 months. My Bichon, never lifted his leg but for once or twice in his life (he is 13.5 years old and squats) BUT.... my little Nappy, the Biewer, LOVES to lift his leg AFTER neutering. So I don't think it holds true for every male. I thought, too, that they didn't lift the leg after neutering, but I was wrong LOL. Luckily, he is still pretty good about pottying inside the litterbox, but always aims for the very edge

, and seems very proud to be a leg-lifter.
