We are having to have Sophie cut (HATING TO DO IT). When she was not feeling well a couple of weeks back I did not mess with brushing her because I knew she didnt feel good. BAD MISTAKE. Now, she is a matted MESS. I have tried to brush her but she just cries while my husband has to hold her. As much as I hate to I would rather just start over 
Pics would be helpful so I can see what I want to do with her and take it to the groomer with me so there is NO confusion about what I want.

If she is matted badly, they will have to take the hair all the way down, so you wouldn't need pictures. I am sorry for you. I had a Maltese that got matted and they almost shaved him. Better than the pain of brushing. Good luck
