No. A friend of mine is a longtime dog trainer, and part of what she does is find dogs for families and help the families introduce the dogs into their homes. She's going to the airport with me to pick him up, and we're going to introduce Rusty to Eddie and Jack at a neutral park. Once they meet and get to know each other in that setting, we'll take Rusty to the house.
Arranging the meeting in "Eddie's territory" is just encouraging him to act territorial.
