The exterminator only killed the adult fleas as does the Frontline. Obviously, you still have eggs hatching in your carpet.
I had a terrible problem with fleas this year. Frontline stopped working for me. I switched to Advantage for my cats and K9 Advantix for Lady. What really got rid of them though was treating the carpet. I got Adams Flea powder for carpets. It's the only one that works for me. You need the carpet powder, not the spray. Work it into the carpet with a broom and let it sit for 24 hours, then lightly vacuum.
The eggs will continue to hatch for about 10 days to 2 weeks, but that will kill them. I have two bombs here that I didn't have to use. |
