If you really cannot get them to take the nutri cal and it is urgent to do so, just stick the end of the tube in her mouth and squeeze some(no more than the size of a pea) under the side of her tongue. She will like it once she settles down and gets a good taste. Later when she is eating well give her a little on your finger as a treat. I have had to do that many times..The nutrical sandwich sounds like a good idea...
