yes, i always cut my dogs hair myself. I took her to the groomer once and was not happy with it so i decided to do it on my own. i have had many "oops" times but once you figure out what look you are going for and the dog learns to just be patient...you are set
I always use thinning shears tho...never scissors. i don't like the sharp edges the scissors make.
